The FlexiroamX app experience:
The Flexiroam X app is simple to use and makes your data plan purchase, activation, and management simple. However, we encountered a few minor issues while using it, such as a screen in the “Book Travel Needs” tab that wouldn’t let us navigate back, forcing us to reset the app every time we entered it.
The design and UI are a little conservative, but the app is very usable, even for someone with little technical know-how.
How well does it work?
In terms of performance, the eSIM works very well indeed!
Flexiroam’s eSIM provided a fast 4G LTE connection that, at times, was better than the native SIM card we had installed on the device.
Our connection was via EE, but Flexiroam’s networks are set to use the fastest data connection available instead of relying on a single provider. We couldn’t confirm if that were the case, but we were entirely satisfied with the eSIM’s speed.

Flexishare: global and local data sharing
Any plan with the Flexishare icon can be shared if the recipient’s account has an eSIM with the same data plan. The important point in understanding the Flexishare system is that the two users must share the same data plans.
Data amounts available— 2 GB, 3 GB, 5 GB, 7 GB, 10 GB, and 11 GB.
You should note that not all data amounts are available on all plans.
It’s also important to remember that plan prices vary from country to country and region to region. Some are more expensive than others.
For example:
An 8-day plan with 1GB of data costs $5:00 in the UK but $11:00 if you’re visiting Saudi Arabia..
A 24-day regional plan for Europe with 10GB of data will cost you $38.00, but for the Japan/Korea/Taiwan region, the same allowance will cost you $75.00.
How to manage your plan:
Once it’s activated, you can manage it through the FlexiroamX app.

No, Flexiroam does not currently offer a plan with the ability to make and receive phone calls. Instead, they recommend using data-based services such as What’s App, Facetime, and Facebook Messenger.

💬 Customer Reviews
I have used Flexiroam for several years now, first with the microchip and now with eSIM. I love the sharing option because I can handle buying data for trips and share it with my companions instead of each of us having to figure out data plans.
Anytime I’ve had an issue with eSIM activation, the support email has been very responsive and helpful.
They often run promos, so even though some of their data packages seem expensive, you can often find deals if you check the app periodically.
I’ve been a Flexiroam user for a year, and it’s become indispensable for traveling. Even if I travel in a group and purchase a WiFi device, I will still get Flexiroam data as a backup because it’s usually more reliable, and the battery on WiFi devices usually only lasts a couple of hours.
The best travel solution to be connected.
I’m a flight attendant for an international airline. constantly moving from country to country every month. The service is perfect, and they have promotions all year long, so you end up paying for a very affordable service. This is indispensable when traveling!
